A unique barn conversion sited on 8 acres of working paddocks, this renovated farmhouse sits conveniently adjacent to the Bedford Riding Trails. The goal of this project was to remain sensitive to the original structure, yet provide the owners with a modern “loft” type home. Materials were salvaged and repurposed throughout the project, while new materials were introduced including giant limestone flooring slabs from Turkey and handmade cement tiles from Mexico. Every aspect of the home was handcrafted with nothing bought off the shelf. Unique touches and details abound at every turn.
