DeRosa Builders, LLC is a full-service construction company specializing in custom home remodeling and new home construction. Anthony B. DeRosa

Anthony formed DeRosa Builders, LLC. with a solid core of basic principles surrounding quality and customer satisfaction. With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Anthony has been awarded multiple home building awards for best specific projects in the state by the Home Builders and Remodelers Association (HBRA).

Michael DeRosa

Michael brings a business development background to DeRosa Builders with 5+ years of construction experience. Michael manages day-to-day operations and provides on-site support to projects.

Project Description

Sitting on a half-acre lot in Westport and overlooking Nash’s pond, the site is on a dead end street very close to town and schools. This house boasts all of 4,500 sq. ft. with all of the bells and whistles of a custom home. Architect Lucien Vita of Lucien Vita Design and DeRosa Builders set out to build an efficient, elegant and detailed home. The custom design, quality products, and the implementation of these products is what separates this home from others.

The open floor plan has 9’ ceiling heights on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. The house is framed with engineered lumber and a zip wall sheathing and roof system. 2 Hyatt Lane is fully enclosed with open and closed cell spray foam.

This home features Marvin Integrity windows and exterior doors, including a bi-fold door and two sets of French doors to an intimate back patio. Keeping in line with efficiency and striving for quality, we installed low maintenance items such as pre stained maibac shingles, a red cedar roof, and Azek for all exterior trim. The exterior of the structure has masonry veneer roughly 5’ high on each side. Installing these high quality, low maintenance products helped to assert its durability and efficiency.

Interior trim throughout includes 3’ high paneling, wainscoting, coffered ceilings of stained white oak and a custom built fireplace and mantle using reclaimed lumber. The interior of this home includes 4 full bathrooms, 2 ½ baths, 4 bedrooms, and a wide open attic space perfect for a playroom, study, or entertaining.
